ABSTRACT
Clomiphene citrate (CC) has been used for induction of ovulation since
1961 1. It was a breakthrough in the treatment of infertility associated with anovulation. After more than 40 years of clinical use, CC still appears to be
quite useful, because it is orally administered and cheap compared with other drugs which are injected and more expensive. Furthermore, it is an
