ABSTRACT
In the present research, a special version of the SDR designed to explore the possibility of enhancing the efficiency of biodiesel synthesis is described and used, as shown in Fig. 1. ANSYS©Fluent 13.0 was chosen in the present research to simulate the synthesis of biodiesel in the SDR, using the convection-diffusion reaction species transport model. The effect of the upper disk’s spinning speed was investigated and the quantitative comparison is also satisfactory.
