2 GETTING STARTED

The Wilkinson power divider has a good wideband and equipage characteristic. Its structure is shown in Figure 1. The Wilkinson power divider consists of transmission line whose length is quarter-wave. The characteristic impedances of the input line and the output line are both. The characteristic impedances of the branch line between the input port and the output port is Z. The demand for the power divider is that the high degree of isolation between the output ports prevents crosstalk between the individual channels. The input power is split equally between two output ports.
