ABSTRACT
Antepartum haemorrhage is bleeding from the genital tract between 24 weeks’ gestation and delivery. Around 3% of women suffer antepartum haemorrhage. Bleeding can be maternal, fetal or placental. The patient with antepartum haemorrhage is at increased risk of postpartum haemorrhage.
