ABSTRACT

Data is one of the most important assets a business has, but the rapid growth of data can make it increasingly difficult to manage. Business administrator handles a large amount data; therefore, effective and accurate data management is a critical part of great administration work. This chapter discusses the disadvantages of the old database management system, known as a traditional file system, and solutions to those problems with a contemporary file system. A contemporary file management system was developed to address the before-mentioned issues with the traditional system. Software now permits firms to centralize data, manage the data efficiently, and provide access to the stored data by an application program. Apple’s cloud storage product, iCloud, is designed to work seamlessly with all business professionals' Apple devices connected to the Internet. Google Drive is a cloud storage service that allows professionals to store their documents, photos, videos, and more online in one place.
