ABSTRACT
Tumors, benign and malignant, may arise in all multicellular organisms. Tumorigenesis is one of the most mysterious problems faced by mankind. Perhaps, no other scientifi c problem has had so many hypotheses associated with it, as the origin of malignant tumours.
