ABSTRACT
The study explored suitable approaches and strategies of reaching a livable city in the planning of a historical town from the aspects of urban spatial distribution, transport, environment, socioeconomic development, social civilization and so on, and proposed the strategy of achieving a livable city in Luzhi town.
