ABSTRACT
Aphids Aphids (Aphis punicae, Aphis pomi) are among the most important and widespread pests in pomegranate orchards. They generally feed on the young leaves which are highly susceptible to aphid attacks. High humidity favours the multiplication of aphids where extreme temperatures cause them to die. This pest is distributed throughout the Mediterranean region and peak during April – July, depending on the climatic conditions.
