ABSTRACT
VF or VT. Administer adrenaline 1 mg i.v. on alternate cycles (every 3-5 minutes) immediately before shocks. Consider a further dose of 150 mg of amiodarone for recurrent or refractory VF/VT, followed by an infusion of 900 mg over 24 hours. Only consider lidocaine (1 mg per kg) if amiodarone is not available.
