´ Life Threatening
a poor initial response to bronchodilator therapy, inform ITU and your seniors before considering magnesium sulphate 1.2-2 g i.v. over 20 minutes. Also consider repeating salbutamol nebulisers every 15 min or 5-10 mg continuously per hour.
