ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses the aim of the anterior-chamber paracentesis, which aims to reduce IOP to allow refilling of the central retinal artery in the context of CRAO of less then 2 hours’ duration. It presents step-by-step process of the consent. The chapter provides a list of equipment required for the anterior-chamber paracentesis. It also discusses the anatomical considerations and the physiological considerations. The chapter also presents the practical procedures of the anterior-chamber paracentesis.
