ABSTRACT
This book is the result of an encounter between a serial inventor, prominent in the world of innovation, and a scholar who has been transforming innovative projects for the last 30 years. Elmar Mock is the co-inventor of the Swatch watch and an innovator and founding partner of Creaholic, in Bienne, Switzerland (see Chapter 5). Gilles Garel is a professor at the Conservatoire national des arts et métiers and at the Ecole polytechnique in Paris. What they have in common is a passion for innovation with a need to understand and the desire to make the process of disruptive creativity accessible to all. Elmar Mock took the risk of deciding to go off the beaten track.
