ABSTRACT
The use of long fasteners as well as flexible core of sandwich panels result in negligible stiffness of connections between stabilized elements and external sheets. Consequently total load in sheeting plane has to be transferred by the internal sheets only. It is worth to mention that they are not connected with each other by seam fasteners. Therefore including cooperation between purlins and covering made of sandwich panels in calculations should be based on the assumption of independent action of each panel (Fig. 2).
