ABSTRACT

In this chapter, the author utilizes 3D spatial abilities all the time, in 3D, chemistry, and CG, using different software. The need for seeing the world upside down is quite often very helpful in order not to get stuck in a specific hypothesis. Try to improve scientists skills, and never forget that the software they use is only a tool. Try to test new software during scientists working year, and do not rely on one specific software. A very important task shared by illustrators and scientists concerns finding patterns and connections in their work. Illustrating concepts from scientific domains different from scientists' own should help they exchange ideas with other scientists, keep their attitude humble, and force they to get as many references as possible to maintain high quality.
