ABSTRACT

In many ways Terry had felt OK about this. He didn’t know what he wanted to do, and his parents’ plans seemed to him to offer a future that would certainly be very comfortable. He didn’t always find school work easy, though, but he felt that he adapted to being away from home rather well. Home life had been rather rigid, in fact there had been very little emotion shown. Life was all a matter of duty and you made the best of your talents, worked hard, upheld the family name and maintained a certain style of living. It was what he was used to, he hadn’t much thought of his life being any different.
