ABSTRACT
As clinical trials evolve with the innovation of new medical products, various processes and perspectives are also changing. This chapter covers some of the special situations that might be encountered by study sites as they conduct clinical trials in the United States. Topics reviewed in this chapter include adaptive clinical trials, stem cell research, combination products, and biospecimen collection and management.
