ABSTRACT
A standard battery of strains for a full mutagenicity assay usually consists of five strains consisting of TA98, TA100, TA1535, TA1537 (or TA97 or TA97a), and TA102 (or WP2 uvrA or WP2 uvrA (pKM101). Strains with TA designations are S. typhimurium and WP2 designations are E. coli.
