ABSTRACT
Even the most well-treated effluent from a wastewater treatment plant is not as clean as river water and will contain a wide variety of substances, including partially oxidized organic and inorganic material. Whenever an effluent enters a receiving water, there will always be some change in water quality and a resultant change in the community structure.
