ABSTRACT

People have commented that many of the games like “Gravity Head” or “On a Rainy Day” create a strong mood and have strong emotional appeal. A completed game design will cover all four elements of the elemental tetrad: technology, mechanics, story, and aesthetics. For example, say game designers are brainstorming ideas for a surfing game. A game designer must be able to come up with dozens of ideas on any topic. Pick a story designers might like to pursue or a game mechanic they would like to explore. The moment designers pick something, they will have a problem statement. The purpose of design is to solve problems, and game design is no exception.
