ABSTRACT

An important factor in the theory of image recognition based on parallel shift technology is the hardware implementation of the proposed methods, which has good characteristics in comparison with existing methods. The image recognition system comprises an optical system, the function of the area of intersection detection block (UFD), the memory block of the function of the area of intersecting etalons and a comparing unit. The main value in the implementation of the method is UFD. It is this unit that computes the FAI and presents it in an appropriate form. Hardware implementation allows implementation of an image shift without first calculating the coordinates of the image pixel shift. Analysis of the examined coatings showed that there are only three types of lattices that are built on the basis of regular polygons that makes it possible to form a dense mosaic field. Such regular polygons include triangles, quadrilaterals and hexagons.
