ABSTRACT

Composition applies not only to the elements within the frame but also to the elements themselves and how they are composed and relate to each other in groups. The shape follows the direction of the established composition. Shape is one of the most important aspects in any object, organic or inorganic. Designing shapes does not only mean to play with the whole shape and see its silhouette change but also to play with the shapes inside of the object. The two forces that act from or on a shape are external and internal forces. Every shape or form has imbedded forces that define its spatial expansion or where the shape seems to want to expand towards. The asymmetric shape has more internal forces that stretch and bulge the shape.
