ABSTRACT

The Blender Node system is a graphical display for data entry. One of its many uses is the application of Materials and Texture to Objects. Another use is assembling and enhancing images or movies. Nodes in the Cycles rendering system are more extensive although the operation and arrangement is similar. Placing the Mouse Cursor on either edge of a node changes the cursor to a double headed arrow. Click and drag the arrow to re-size the node panel. Material Node arrangements are used for creating Materials. When a Material is created, it is saved for future use in the Blender file. A Material in blender is data that tells the program to display the surface of an Object In a certain way. The default Cube has been replaced with a UV Sphere which has been smoothed and scaled down on its Z axis to form a disc.
