ABSTRACT
This chapter provides a review of the literature in four different areas, namely, environmentally conscious manufacturing and product recovery (ECMPRO), sensor-embedded products, warranty analysis and maintenance analysis. The scope of the literature review supports the subject matter covered in the subsequent chapters of this book.
