ABSTRACT
Proper disinfection measures shall be taken for urban drainage facilities to cut off the transmission of novel coronaviruses via urban drainage systems. If the manual operation is necessary, necessary personnel protective measures shall be taken. While carrying out the ditch connection and change works, the construction personnel shall take necessary protective measures to avoid direct contact with sewage. On the premise of ensuring the personnel safety and unblocked pipes and channels, the conventional pipe and channel dredging shall be primarily carried out by mechanical and hydraulic means, and manual dredging shall be avoided as much as possible. While handling emergencies such as sewage overflow or pipe collapse, emergency repair personnel shall take necessary protective measures. Operating agencies of urban drainage facilities shall establish epidemic prevention and control safe production working groups responsible for establishing regulations on safe production during epidemic prevention and control period to guide, supervise and publicize the epidemic prevention and control work of urban drainage systems.
