ABSTRACT
Water is the foundation of survival, source of civilization and essential of ecology. Water resource is a major controlling factor of ecological environment, while water eco-civilization is important part and basic guarantee of eco-civilization. In March 2018, Chongqing, based on comprehensive inspection results, announced that the black and odorous water had been already basically eliminated in 48 black, odorous water segments in Chongqing, with the public satisfaction all over 90%, and the water quality of 56 lakes and reservoirs had also been improved in 2017. The service value of the basin water environment ecosystem has been improved after the treatment, the treatment engineering has archived good ecological benefits. Water is a controlling factor of ecosystem, and the benign cycle of water is a basic guarantee of healthy ecology and an important foundation of good life. The ecological basin construction is to realize the benign water cycle through a series of measures, so as to make water adapt to human society.
