ABSTRACT
This chapter presents case studies examining the indicators for three regions where outlying sustainability results are present. County-level results are presented and interpreted for the Wasatch Front, Central Plains, and Northern Great Plains. The case studies are offered to demonstrate how the information presented in this book can be used to develop locally relevant narratives describing the sustainability situation and how this compares with other counties across the country. Each case study area has similarities in their counties, but they also have dissimilarities.
