ABSTRACT
Nail changes in patients with leprosy (lepromatous or tuberculoid) are frequent, not specific, but a sign of trophic changes and a clue for the diagnosis. Trauma, neuropathy, vasculopathy, drugs reaction, and infections are the main causes of nail alterations.
