ABSTRACT
The number of large enterprises in animal production has begun to increase significantly. However, as the number of animals continues to increase, it has become difficult to monitor the condition of animals and the housing and operating environment, which is critical to the welfare of the animals. In this chapter, basic information about the importance of animal production, nutrition, and mechanization in livestock is given, and the precision livestock farming subject is explained in detail. Then, important precision livestock farming practices are explained.
