ABSTRACT
Vast amounts of data are continuously being collected from a wide variety of sources in agricultural areas. Data mining algorithms are used to extract useful data from such vast datasets. Extracting these useful data is for a wide variety of purposes, but generally for decision-making or problem-solving on any subject. In this chapter, the concept of data mining and data mining techniques are explained in detail. Then, examples of data mining applications in agriculture are given.
