ABSTRACT

The unique revolutionary power of the digital computer comes from its universality. By installing and running any given program on the fly, a computer instantly becomes a different machine without rewiring or other physical modifications. The internal state of a computer refers to the current condition or situation of the computer at any given time. It includes things like what programs are running, what data is being processed, and what tasks the computer is currently performing. The Turing machine is a prime example of a central idea in computational thinking “abstraction.” A programmer has the knowledge and skills to write programs. Actually, a software project often involves a small team of people, not just one person. Therefore, in the digital age, computer programmers are the digital smiths who can create new tools by writing programs. Humans may want to borrow the computer's can-do spirit.
