ABSTRACT
There are many causes and clinical syndromes of facial pain. This is attributed to one or more of the following reasons:
• There are many anatomical structures in close proximity. • There is significant representation of facial sensation within the cerebral cortex. • The face plays a vital role in personal and social interaction.
