ABSTRACT
The advantage of this algorithm is that approximately 80% of sensitive patients can be considered for immunotherapy immediately, thus reducing the risk inherent in not being treated while waiting to be tested. Measurement of venomspecific IgG antibodies has been suggested, but the data do not support the usefulness of this.
