ABSTRACT
Despite intractable seizures, he had managed to attend mainstream schooling and obtain his school certificates in six subjects. He left school at the age of 16 years and worked for 4 years as a television salesman. Unfortunately his seizures became more frequent and as a consequence he was forced to give up work in 1983. He tried a combination of antiepileptic drugs but was unable to obtain satisfactory control.
