ABSTRACT

Executive management maintains the sole responsibility to define and document its responsibilities for quality and to ensure that the goals, objectives and commitment for and to quality are being met. The executive management must ensure that the quality system is implemented and effective in order to enhance customer/patient satisfaction and produce continual improvement throughout the practice. Practice priorities that relate to enhancing the service provided and improving patient outcomes are critical components in the delivery of services. Management must ensure that all services being provided are meeting the defined and documented quality policy, goals and objectives, which will bring about effective quality management and continual improvement.
