ABSTRACT
The preparation and quotation of references are an integral part of writing a scientific paper or thesis. They provide a mechanism which enables the work of others to be recognized and acknowledged and to support statements made in the text of a paper. They also allow the reader to identify and retrieve the sources of information quoted, quickly and easily.
