ABSTRACT
The anticoagulant effects of warfarin may be reversed by the administration of vitamin K or coagulation factors. The onset of action of vitamin K (oral or i.v.) is several hours but the effect may last for several weeks. FFP or factor IX concentrate have a more immediate but shorter-acting effect.
