ABSTRACT
One of the hardest steps in practising evidence-based medicine may be the translation of a clinical (patient) problem into an answerable clinical question. Regardless of whether the patient problem is about the optimal diagnostic approach, the optimal therapeutic strategy or even prognosis, the definition and structure of an appropriate clinical question is crucial in order to successfully find the appropriate evidence for solving that problem.
