ABSTRACT
GRANT JAMES ANHALT was born in Shaunavon, Saskatchewan, Canada on December 14, 1952. His father was a dermatologist in Winnipeg and on the teaching staff until his retirement in 1992. Grant took his under-graduate work, his M.D., internship, and a year of internal medicine all at the University of Winnipeg. This was followed by 5 years of training in his father’s field at the University of Michigan. He then moved to Johns Hopkins University where by 1996 he had risen to the rank of full Professor of Dermatology and Pathology. He currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Department.
