ABSTRACT

ANDREW ROSE ROBINSON was born in Claude, Ontario, July 31, 1845. He took his M.D. at Bellevue Hospital Medical College in 1868, and did post-graduate work in Toronto, Edinburgh, London, Paris, and Vienna. Always interested in pathology, he was appointed professor of histology and pathologic anatomy at the New York Medical College. The institution in which he was most interested was the New York Poly-clinic Medical School and Hospital. He was one of its founders, and for many years Professor of Dermatology and Vice President.
