ABSTRACT
CAESAR PETER MOELLER BOECK was born September 28, 1845, in Lier, Norway. After graduation from medical school in Christiania (Oslo) in 1871, he practiced general medicine for several years. In 1874 he spent a year on the continent studying dermatology and histology, particularly in Vienna. He returned to Christiania as an assistant physician at the Rikshospitalet and later joined the staff of the University of Norway. In 1895 he was made Professor of Dermatology.
