ABSTRACT

Changes found outwith the joint include conjunctivitis, iritis and episcleritis. These are usually found in association with the ankylosing spondylitis pattern of psoriatic arthritis.

INVESTIGATIONS

Haematology

ESR is high with the symmetrical polyarthritis, but otherwise the ESR is usually only moderately raised. Normochromic normocytic anaemia is present.
