ABSTRACT
Recent information about overactive bladder (OAB) is extensive. In PubMed alone, 608 items could be found on a search carried out at the beginning of July 2006 and covering the first 6 months of 2006. This is enough evidence that the topic is still under substantial investigation. The serious impact of the condition on personal, social, and economic life will be one of the reasons for the interest in OAB. The very active involvement of industry is another reason.
