ABSTRACT
In the sections that follow, some basic elements of experimental design will be presented. These include statistical considerations, acute studies, dose-response data, repeated exposures, chronic studies, studies of carcinogenesis, mutagenesis, and teratogenesis, and studies of atmospheres that contain multiple components.
