ABSTRACT
Distal radius fractures are extremely common injuries occurring
mostly as low-energy extra-articular or minimal articular frac-
tures in middle-aged to elderly women but with a small peak of
incidence also in young men with higher energy injuries that
tend to be intra-articular (1).
