Shoulder pain is a common ailment for which patients seek medical attention. Common causes of shoulder pain include rotator cuff tears, impingement syndrome, glenohumeral arthrosis, acromioclavicular arthrosis, and instability. Less common causes include cervical radiculopathy, thoracic outlet syndrome, para-labral (ganglion) cysts, and nerve compression.
