THE CRITICAL IMPORTANCE OF MAINTENANCE The upkeep of, and making necessary repairs to, facilities and equipment is closely linked to product quality. Studies of FDA Establishment Inspection Reports, Warning Letters, and the reasons for recalls make it clear that a definite relationship does exist between quality and maintenance.
