ABSTRACT
Focal length can be simply standardized with digital SLRs by selecting a fixed focal length (non-zoom) lens. With point and shoot cameras, zoom to approximately the same spot on your camera status bar as possible (turn off any digital ‘zoom’). If using a 3 × or 4 × lens, zoom to full telephoto for global views.
