ABSTRACT

Predominantly nodal distribution is characteristic for angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma, peripheral T-cell lymphoma, not otherwise specified, and anaplastic large cell lymphoma. Other chromosomal abnormalities present in specific T-cell lymphoproliferations include isochromosome 7q typical for HSTL, and inversion of chromosome 14 seen in T-cell prolymphocytic leukemia. Only sporadic cases of CLL/SLL can be positive for CD4, CD7, or 10 Peripheral (Mature) T-and NK-cell Neoplasms peripheral (mature) t-and nk-cell neoplasms CD8. The distinction from other (specific) peripheral T-cell neoplasms is based on clinical, morphologic, phenotypic, and genetic data, but is not always clear, especially at the time of initial diagnosis. PTCL, although the most common category of peripheral T-cell neoplasms, accounts for fewer than 10% of all NHLs. Four different examples of peripheral T-cell lymphoma unspecified, analyzed by flow cytometry. Early AITL may show preserved reactive germinal centers with mostly interfollicular distribution of neoplastic cells, and therefore it may be difficult to differentiate from reactive processes, or PTCL with prominent T-zone pattern.
