Loss or Aberrant Expression of Pan-T-cell Antigen(s) The loss of CD2, CD3, CD5 and/or CD7, or their aberrant expression (i.e., dim or variable expression) is often present in T-cell neoplasms. Occasional T-cell disorders may be negative for all pan-T-cell antigens, e.g., T-ALL ( Fig. 3.2 ) or ALCL (“null” cell phenotype).
