ABSTRACT
This 38 year-old-man had fevers, arthralgia, and cutaneous lesions that were initially thought to represent septic emboli. However, there was no evidence of endocarditis, and the biopsy showed leukocytoclastic vasculitis. The vasculitis may have been due to antibiotics he had received for an unrelated problem.
